Special teams play a big part in Edmonton's postseason success, but the Oilers suffer when they don't perform well. This was demonstrated in Game 5 when, despite continuing to limit the Canucks' power play, the Oilers were ineffective when they had the man advantage.

The Avalanche have shown they can rebound from adversity and with the energy of the Ball Arena crowd, they are expected to perform at their best. The home advantage and their need to stay in the series will drive the Avalanche to a crucial victory in Game 6.

The Boston Bruins are determined not to lose another game at home, especially with the stakes this high. Their solid home record and recent win against the Panthers give them a psychological edge.

The Oilers, despite their high-powered offense, have struggled with consistency and goaltending issues, which the Canucks can exploit. Vancouver's home ice advantage and overall team depth make them the favorites to win this pivotal game and take the lead in the series.

It is difficult to stop the Avalanche's offensive approach, which comes in waves, so Dallas will need to play better for the entire 60 minutes.

The Bruins were in one of those wars of attrition vs. the Maple Leafs, when goals were being thrown around like manhole covers. Florida, however, didn't contribute to that trend in the opening round vs. Tampa Bay, scoring 20 goals across the five-game series win, with the last three games "over" as well. This season, the Bruins have dominated the Panthers, winning all four meetings, including two at Amerant Bank Arena. In all four games, Bruins goalies kept Panthers skaters to three goals or fewer.

The Bruins will have to pressure Toronto goalkeeper Woll and put him under pressure right away. Woll was able to settle into the game and provide in the closing minutes of games five and six, while the Bruins managed just four shots on goal overall.

The Golden Knights have won five of their past seven games, including six of their last eight at home. They are doing well offensively, having scored nine goals in their last three games. They also performed well on special teams.

With 14 goals in the first four games of the series, the Panthers' offense has been in complete control. Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk have each scored six goals.
