Tonight we have the Knicks traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Sixers. The Knicks come into this game after dropping a game to a young and talented Cleveland team lastnight 126-109. This will be the Knicks 3rd game in 4 days and come into this game on a B2B. They come into this game at full strength as Kemba Walker should be back after a night off. They'll look to bounce back tonight against another top team in the East in the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers come into this game battling injuries/covid but have been able to continue this nice stretch of games to begin the year. They will be without Matisse Thybulle and Tobias Harris tonight and they could also once again be without Danny Green as he comes into this game questionable with a hamstring issue. The Sixers will continue to rely on Joel Embiid and these talented guards that surround him to keep things going in the right direction. 

New York Knicks

The Knicks come into this game on the second leg of a B2B an after dropping a game lastnight and will look to turn things around against a banged up Sixers squad. This team will continue to run through Julius Randle who has picked up where he left off last season. He struggled a bit lastnight against the Cavs going for 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists on 7-17 FG shooting. Kemba Walker will be back tonight after taking the night off for rest, he should slide right back into the starting lineup and Derrick Rose will come off the bench.  RJ Barret and Evan Fournier will be called upon to score and playmake tonight, Barrett had a rough game lastnight and will look to bounce back here tonigth as he has started this season on a nice pace. Mitchell Robinson and Nerlens Noel will be tasked with slowing down Joel Embiid tonight which is a tough ask of anyone. The Knicks will look to bounce back against a Philly team that's been on a roll of late.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers come into this game on a roll while battling injuries/covid to some key pieces in this rotation. This team will run through Joel Embiid who is averaging 21.4 ppg, 9.4 rebounds, 4 assists per game so far to start the year. He himself is also playing through a knee injury but looked good lastime out against the Bulls. Shake Milton, Tyrese Maxey, and Seth Curry will run things in the back court and all three bring solid scoring, playmaking, and tough defense every time they're on the floor. Furkon Korkmaz can always get hot on any given night evidenced by his 25 points last time out against the Bulls, he will see some extra run if Danny Green continues to miss games. Georges Niang will continue to get run in the frount court with Tobias Harris out for a couple more games, he brings some scoring to the table. This Sixers team has really stepped it up while missing some key pieces and I don't expect that to change tonight against a tough Knicks team.

Prediction

I'll be on the 76ers tonight as the Knicks will be on the second leg of a B2B and will be playing their 3rd game in 4 days. The Sixers come in on a day rest and will continue to come out and play tough defense and have plenty of guys to go to on the offensive end when they need a bucket.
