Preview

The Air Force Falcons will take on the Boise State Broncos this Saturday night. The Broncos are coming off of a big, timely win over BYU, while the Falcons took down Wyoming to win their third straight game.

Air Force picked up another physical victory behind their strong run game. The Falcons would pull away from Wyoming in the second half for a 24-14 win.

Boise State came through big for bettors on the road last weekend. The Broncos entered Provo 2-3 and came out .500 after defeating BYU 26-17 behind a strong defensive effort.

Offensive matchup
Air Force (5-1, 2-2)

Haaziq Daniels had to do more with his arm than his legs for the first time last weekend. The junior quarterback went 7/10 for 110 passing yards, and his second passing touchdown of the season. He's second on the team 435 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.

Air Force ranks first in the country in rushing at 341.5 yards per game, and their spearheaded by Brad Roberts. The junior back has been an absolute workhorse thus far. After rushing for 140 yards in each of the last two games, he's up to 680 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

Do-it-all back Micah Davis leads the team in receiving with 10 catches for 221 yards, and he's third on the team in rushing with 282 yards and eight total touchdowns.

Boise State (3-3, 1-2)

Hank Bachmeier did just enough to get the job done last weekend. The junior quarterback took a back seat last week, as the Broncos took a safer approach on the road. Bachmeier passed for a season-low 172 yards, but he protected the football and should have a bigger impact this week.

Boise may have finally got its run game going last weekend. The Broncos still don't have a 200-yard rusher through six weeks, but both Cyrus Habibi-Likio and Andrew Van Buren scored touchdowns and capitalized on their bigger workloads last weekend.

Khalil Shakir has brought consistency to an uneasy Boise offense. The senior receiver has caught five passes in all but one outing, and he leads the Broncos with 36 catches for 584 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.

Prediction

Boise looks to have a very winnable game on their hands. Their ground game looks like it's improving, and so is there defense after forcing four turnovers last weekend. It should be a hard-hitting contest, but Boise should cover.

Take Boise State's spread Saturday night.

PICK: Boise State Broncos -3.5
