Preview

Tonight we have the Sixers traveling to Detroit to take on the Pistons. The Sixers come into this game battling some injuries but have still been playing good as they have plenty of depth at each postion. The Pistons come into this game struggling as they are a young team that is still trying to figure things out.

The Sixers come into this game without Danny Green and Tobias Harris due to injury and Harris testing positive for covid. The bench players for the Sixers have stepped up these past few games and they will need to continue to do so to beat this Pistons team at home.

The Pistons come into this game fully healthy as it looks like Cade Cunnigham will be a full go from here on out. This is a young Pistons squad that is still working on rotations and they're a team that doesn't shoot very efficient. They will need their shots to fall at a higher clip if they want to find success against this tough Sixers defense.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers come into this game battling some key injuries but they continue to roll on. Niang has really stepped up over the last couple games and has been a key piece to their success while battling these injuries. Though the bench has stepped up, this team is Joel Embiid's now and the Pistons will have no one to matchup with him. Embiid should have his way tonight and if the role players continue to step up this could be an easy win for this Sixers team. The likes of Curry, Maxey, Milton, and Korkmaz will be tasked with the back court minutes. All four players can get hot on any given night and they all can distribute the basketball as well all while playing tough defense. The Sixers are the better coached and more talented team in this matchup and they should be able to find success against this Pistons team.

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons come into this game at full strength as it looks like Cade Cunnigham is going to play his full workload. Cunningham will most likely take the reigns of this team at some point in the season but right now Jerami Grant will be the main producer for this team. Grant and Cunnngham can produce a variety of ways on both ends of the floor though Cunningham will focus more on the offensive side of things. Saddiq Bey has  had a nice start to the season as he has been filling up the stat sheet in all categories as he looks to take a leap forward this season. We could see some more Kelly Olynyk in tonight as Detroit will need to looks for some offense and different ways to slow down Embiid. The Pistons are a young team who are most likely over matched in this matchup.

Prediction

I'll be on the Sixers tonight as they just have more weapons even with the injuries they are currently battling. Embiid will do whatever he wants tonight and I have faith in the pieces around him that they pick up and easy win tonight.
