Preview

Tonight we have the the Wizards traveling to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers. The Wizards enter this game without Davis Bertans and some other who have yet to make their season debut. The Cavs come into this game wihtout Colin Sexton, Kevin Love, and Lauri Markkanen. This will be a battle between two Eastern conference teams that have suprised some to start the season.

Washington Wizards

The Wizards come into this game winning two straight and look to continue this little run tonight against the Cavs. Led by Bradley Beal and Spencer Dinwiddie the Wizards have been good offensively and defensively to begin the year as the are ranked 5th in defensive rating and 15th offensively. The supporting cast consisting of Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Raul Neto who can al contribute across the board. Bradley Beal and Spencer Dinwiddie should have their way with this Cleveland back court tonight as the likes of Darius Garland and Ricky Rubio are far from bad matchups. Harrell and Kuzma have had nice starts to the season and will look to continue that against a talented alebeit young front court for the Cavs. Washington seems to have more weapons on the offensive side of the ball in this matchup though tho this Cavs team has been playing some very solid basketball on both ends of the floor. The Wizards go for their 3rd straight win tonight.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs have come into this season on a roll as this young team has been playing some solid basketball to begin the year, ranking 11th in offensive rating and 13th on defense. With Sexton out of the mix and Okoro most likely back in the rotation tonight, Okoro and Ricky Rubio could be put into the starting lineup, Rubio has been excellent this season. Garlund will also be in control of the ball tonight and has also been playing some good basketball to start the year,  scoring and playmaking while playing solid defense. My favorite part about this Cleveland team is the frount cout, though battling some injuries to Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love, Jarrett Allen and rookie Evan Mobley have been getting all the minute they can handle and have been answering the call every game. Mobely has been a bit inconsistent on the offensive end but coming off a nice game where he put up 26 points against the Knicks he could be called upon for some extra production with Sexton out of the lineup. Allen always brings the rebounding and scoring and can get it done on the defensive side too. The Cavs have are young squad battling injuries but have been able to overcome those problems early in the season. They'll look to contnue this success tonight against Washington.

Prediction

I'll be on the Wizards tonight as they bring alittle more on the offensive side of the ball with Beal and Dinwiddie. Look for them to cover this spread easily and pick up an easy win.

PICK: Wizards -3.5  (-110)
