Preview

The Sacramento Kings will continue their four-game road trip and take on the Oklahoma City Thunder this Friday.

Sacramento Kings

Harrison Barnes has really come into his own this season. The former UNC forward has already supplied heroics this season with a buzzer-beater win against the Suns, and he's averaging career-highs of 21.4 ppg, and 8.6 rpg.

De'Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Davion Mitchell form a talented Kings backcourt. Fox got off to a slow start, but he's back up to 20.2, and he's coming off of a career-high 37 points. Haliburton is growing into one of the more well-rounded guards in the league, while Mitchell is enjoying a solid rookie season playing beside both young guards.

Sharpshooter Buddy Heild continues to be a sniper from deep. The former OU guard is averaging 16.9 ppg, and he's hit three or more treys in sevn of ten games this seaspn.

Richaun Holmes has emerged as a double-double threat in the middle. The seventh-year big had a monstrous 23/20 game against the Hornets, and he's averaging career-highs of 13.9 ppg, and 10.7 rpg.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are a young, resilient team, and their going to steal some games this season. They've already stunned the Lakers twice and they enter this one the heels of a road win over the Pelics

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should absolutely be a first-time All-Star this season. The fourth year guard enjoyed a successful rookie season with the Clippers, helping them secure a playoff birth with one of the more iconic playoff teams in recent history.

SGA is thriving in year four, and he's to another fast start, averaging 22.1 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 3.8 assist per game.

Darius Bazley (6.5 rpg), and Josh Giddey (10.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.9 apg) compliment SGA in the starting lineup. Lu Dort is a stud defensively, and he's coming off of a career-high 27 points.

Prediction

The Thunder have shown through the first few weeks that they won't be an easy out this season. While they've been more competitive than expected, the Kings looked like a playoff team when the season started. Their in the midst of a three-game skid, and this presents a very manageable chance to stop the bleeding. We're going to ride with them tonight.

Take Sacramento's spread on the road here.

PICK: Sacramento Kings -4.5
